Susan is planning on being down at the perennial garden (at the top and sides of the pool area in the park) on Saturday from 10-11 am to do a bit of weeding and planning for this garden. Please swing by if you have a chance to help beatify our park! Maybe between yard sales!
Our neighborhood Police Officer Carey wants to remind folks that there have been counterfeit $20 bills being circulated at yard sales. So remember to really look at the bills - hold them up to the light and look for the watermarks. Or you can buy a pen to identify counterfeits - they sell them at Staples and other like stores. So keep an eye out!
Police Officer Carey is planning on being in our neighborhood for the yard sale on bike patrol - It will be a great opportunity to meet your community officer! So make sure you say Hi! (and maybe offer him a lemonade or water if it’s hot :)
Don’t forget that Saturday (June 12) from 8am to 3pm is our neighborhood yard sale! Check out the map of yard sales:

Hi Neighbors - it’s that time of year again. The weather is nice, the kids are getting out of school, and people are out and about more. Its been great to see so many people walking and biking around the neighborhood, the park, and the River Trail.
But with this increased activity comes an increase in opportunistic crimes. Our neighborhood Police Officer Carey wants to remind people to lock their doors and windows and garages. Call the police if you see any suspicious activity - they want to hear from us. Help keep our neighborhood safe and secure!
Also remember to slow down while you are driving around the neighborhood, the kiddos are out in force playing in the streets. So watch out!
